Dr. Marianne Moscoso-Osterkorn
Director General
Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP)

In 2004, Marianne Moscoso-Osterkorn became Director General of REEEP, the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership, leading the partnership from the International Secretariat located in Vienna.  Previous to that, she held a series of management positions at Verbund, the largest Austrian utility company, most recently as International Relations Manager for more than 10 years. In this capacity she was responsible for international lobbying and market development, and closely followed the liberalisation process of the European energy market. During these years she was also strongly involved in the development of the European Green Certificate market and served as President of RECS International, a European green certificate organization for several years.

James “Jim” McMahon
Head, Energy Analysis Department
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory

Dr. James E. ("Jim") McMahon is Head of the Energy Analysis Department, Leader of the Energy Efficiency Standards (EES) Group, and Co-chair of the Water Energy Technology Team (WETT) in the Environmental Energy Technologies Division at LBNL. He currently leads the economic and technical analysis of U.S. appliance, equipment, and lighting standards, under contract to the U.S. Department of Energy. Dr. McMahon received a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Providence College and a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biophysics from Florida State University.

Kent Anson is the Vice President, Global Energy & Environment of Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) Global Energy business.  In addition Kent is a member of Honeywell’s corporate Energy Efficiency team.  Kent is responsible to lead and develop global energy strategies, ensure alignment of energy segment activities, and implement growth programs.


Lisa Jacobson
Executive Director
Business Council for Sustainable Energy

Lisa Jacobson serves as the Executive Director for the Business Council for Sustainable Energy and brings over ten years of experience on the design of environmental and emissions markets. She is the author of numerous publications focusing on greenhouse gas risk management, emissions trading policy and clean energy market development.

Ms. Jacobson served on the California Climate Action Registry Power Sector and Utility Protocol Advisory Committee and has advised states and federal policymakers on the incorporation of clean energy and energy efficiency into market-based emissions programs. Prior to her position with the Council, Ms. Jacobson was a legislative aide to the U.S. Congress; received a Masters in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science; and a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Vermont.


Dr. Nitin Pandit
President
International Institute for Energy Conservation (IIEC)

Since 2000, Dr. Pandit has been the President of IIEC, a non-profit based in the Washington, DC, area and working through its offices in India, Thailand, Philippines, South Africa, and Brazil to implement novel sustainable energy programs in developing countries.  Dr. Pandit's focus is to conceptualize and cultivate multi-disciplined approaches to scale-up energy efficiency practices through innovative technical and financial mechanisms.  In the past few years, Dr. Pandit has guided IIEC in the implementation of several trend-setting programs in demand side management with utilities, and in mainstreaming financial mechanisms for constructing energy efficient Eco-Housing in India.


Thomas Weirich
Vice President of Corporate Relations
American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE)

Mr. Weirich is Vice President of Corporate Relations at ACORE, where he manages corporate strategy and member programs. Previously, he worked with Edelman Worldwide within the Consumer Technology & Digital Lifestyle Group in Silicon Valley and with the International Trade & Arbitration Groups at White & Case, LLP in Washington, D.C. He received his M.A. in International Development from the University of Chicago, and his B.S. in Foreign Service with Honors from Georgetown University.
