David Green is the Chief Executive of the UK Business Council for Sustainable Energy, which builds on his work as Director of the Combined Heat and Power Association. He is also Chair of the Mayor of London’s Energy Partnership, and a member of the Local Government Associations Climate Change Commission.
David Green co-founded and launched the national charity Neighbourhood (now National) Energy Action that has worked, since 1981, with its local partners to secure warmer homes for over 4 million lower income households. He is now a Vice President of National Energy Action.
He was a member of the UK Governments high-level group on energy policy for the ten years of its existence. He has also contributed to a wide range of political reports and activities on energy policy. David Green has also worked as advisor to the State Government in Victoria, Australia as well as the US Department of Energy, and various institutions of the European Union.
A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Fellow of the Energy Institute. Member of the Council of the Parliamentary Group for Energy Studies. Member of the high level Ministerial Advisory Group on Zero Carbon Homes. Member of the UK Governments Delegation to the World Summit on Sustainable Development, and the follow up International Renewable Energy Conference.
David Green was awarded the 2007 Award for Outstanding Contribution to Sustainable Energy by the Parliamentary Renewable and Sustainable Energy Group. He was also awarded the MBE in 1986, and the OBE in 2003.
Hon. Dian Grueneich

Dian M. Grueneich was appointed to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in January 2005 and unanimously confirmed by the State Senate in May for a six year term. Commissioner Grueneich is a nationally recognized expert in energy and environmental issues, with over 30 years of experience in the field. At the CPUC, she focuses on energy efficiency, transmission planning and permitting, climate change, renewable energy resources, and low income consumer issues. Prior to her appointment, Commissioner Grueneich served as a Board member of the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy and is a past-President of the California League of Conservation Voters. She is a graduate of Stanford University and holds a J.D. from Georgetown University.
Satish Kumar

Dr. Satish Kumar of International Resources Group (IRG) heads the USAID ECO-III Project. He is also a scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory where he has worked in various capacities for 10 years. He is considered a leading international expert in the field of building and public sector energy efficiency, monitoring and verification of energy savings, and indoor environmental quality. Dr. Kumar is a co-founder and board member of Efficiency Valuation Organization, the organization that maintains the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol.
Dr. Kumar has a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and a Ph.D. in Building Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
